Jane is almost always an animal. I pretty much can't get this girl to do anything unless I accept this as a fact. I can beg and plead for Jane to come and eat her oatmeal, but it'll never fly until I call out, "Come here little kitty! Come and eat your food." She'll then come romping over, but not without correcting me first, "No! I not a Kitty! I'nah puppy!" Of coarse, you know if I had called her a puppy first she would have been a kitty. I rarely get it right the first time. :) Even our neighbors and friends know that if they say hello to Jane they will likely be acknowledged with some kind of squeak which she uses for all baby animals, even frogs. Did you know baby frogs, aka tadpoles, squeak? Well they do!"Dad, what ye gon be when yeh grow up? Are ye gon be a policeman?"

Kellen and Jane both say the word "pants" like, "peeyants". It reminds me of Steve Urkle, if anyone remembers him.

"Mom, I mee a dam-baid!"
(Mom, I need a band aid!)
Every morning, instead of calling for Mom, she shouts, "Mer-reee! I awake! Mer-reee!" She must think I respond better to my name. Maybe because big people call me Marie, and I never make them wait for my attention.

My sweet little Kellen is always telling me he loves me more than all of space, the tallest building, the deepest ocean, or the whole world, which is the one Jane picked up on. She says, "Mom, I luh you SO MUCH a rilled!!" Translation: "Mom, I love you more than the whole world!"
