I bought a giant bag of yummy Chinese pot-stickers, and they quickly became a favorite of Kellen's. Now he often asks if we can have sticker-pops for dinner. :)

"Please pass the kepchup." Kellen was teaching Jane the all important skill of playing Ninja Turtles on our old Nintendo. I could hear them both cheering as they "got the bad guys", and then I heard Kellen call out. "Yeah! Now that's what I call TEAM WORK!"
Today we were at a McDonalds play place getting some exercise on a cold day. I was sitting down below, reading, and I glanced up to find Kellen staring at me from high above in the play tower. I called, "What ya doing, bud?!" He than shouts down, "Nothing! Just look'n at your beautiful face!" No kidding. That's just what he said, and loud enough for the rest of the visitors to hear it. What a sweetie. I think he learned that line from listening to his Dad. I think I'll keep them both.

Today I had my back turned to the kids, and I heard Kellen say in a concerned tone, "Jane, are you gonna kill Mom?!" I turned around to find her approaching me with scissors in hand. I first confiscated the scissors and then explained to Kellen that my two year old was not trying to kill me, she merely wanted to cut something up, one of her favorite past times these days. I promise I haven't let my children watch scary movies, especially involving stabbing people with scissors. Ha ha! He is so funny!

Lately in his prayers Kellen has been saying, "and please bless most everyone." Not sure where that's coming from... Also he often says, "and bless us that we can have a meer-cle (miracle) that we never saw before."
Heavenly Father must love to listen to little peoples prayers. :)
